Alternative wedding photographer for couples who break the rules
Arriving in a sidecar. Ending the night on a bouncy castle with an inflatable dinosaur. If your wedding’s a bit different, you’re in the right place.

Your wedding should look like you, not a magazine
I started out photographing music gigs and burlesque shows, and my first wedding came from that world: a couple whose photographer cancelled three weeks before the big day. Fourteen years later, I still love the weddings that throw out the rule book.
My one piece of advice? If something doesn’t make you happy, Marie Kondo it. Don’t keep it because a relative thinks you should or because the wedding industry told you to. Want to ride a rodeo bull? Go barefoot in the grass? Do it. I’ll be there with my camera.
The weddings I love most
Festival weddings.
Tipis, food trucks, hay bales and a horse-trailer bar. I’ll be in the middle of it all, probably with a vegan iced coffee.

Woodland and outdoor weddings.
Dappled light, celebrant ceremonies under the trees, fairy lights in jars.

Gothic and dark romantic weddings.
Velvet, candles, black florals. My gothic shoot at the National Justice Museum in Nottingham was picked up by Hello magazine.

DIY and handmade weddings.
Grandma’s flowers, homemade bunting, a surfboard guestbook. The personal stuff is what I love photographing most.

Rock and roll weddings.
Classic rock on the playlist and I might just join you on the dancefloor.

Every couple is welcome here. Whoever you are and whoever you love, your wedding gets photographed the way you want it.
Suppliers who get it
Some of my favourite people to work with: Ms Moo Make Up, The English Wedding Co (styling), and the celebrants who make small ceremonies so personal.
