Relaxed, documentary wedding photography in Leicestershire
For couples who’d rather be at their wedding than posing for it.

Your wedding, photographed from the inside out
Whether you’re all about the party vibes at a festival wedding, building a DIY dream, or saying your vows in a beautiful barn conversion, my job is the same: tell the real story of your day so you can relive it every time you open your album.
I get stuck in with your guests and catch it all. The nervous laugh before the ceremony. Your mate crying into his pint during the speeches. The kids sliding across the dancefloor on their knees. I’m there for every bit of it.

What to expect on the day
Getting ready.
I arrive during prep, grab the details and the nerves, and quietly get to know everyone. By the ceremony, your guests have forgotten about me.

The ceremony.
Church, registry, celebrant in the woods: I work quietly and never get in the way.

Group photos, done fast.
You give me a list, I give it to a loud usher, and we’re done before the drinks get warm. Big group shot from a window if the venue lets me (I’ve got the war wounds to prove it).

Couple portraits.
A short break away from the crowd, no awkward poses. A wander, a chat, some laughs. If you’re shy, this is where it’s easiest.

Speeches and the party.
The belly laughs, the happy tears, and the dad-dancing. I stay through the first dance and into the party on full-day packages.

Leicestershire venues I love
From 600-year-old timber beams at The Guildhall in Leicester to fields, woodland and barn conversions across the county, I love a venue with character. Have a look at some real weddings:
How far do you travel?
Full-day packages include travel up to 100 miles from my base just outside Leicester. That covers most of the Midlands, the Peak District and beyond.
Do you do group shots?
Yes, the ones you actually want. Send me a list and I’ll make them quick.
Can we have a second photographer?
Yes, a second shooter is £400. Handy for big guest lists or when you’re getting ready in different places.
